At the recent Electric Vehicles Symposium, Wattshock exhibited their regenerative suspension retrofit shock. This component generates electricity from previously wasted kinetic energy in vehicles. Wattshock works by exploiting the vehicle's weight by capturing down force through hydraulic pressure to power an alternator. This allows Off Road vehicles to utilize the energy of long travel suspension, or heavy duty suspension, to produce electricity.
